Museum for the Freetown of Christiania
The Freetown of Christiania was established by those who sought to break free of the restraints that the norms of macro-society imposed on them. Two of their most important values involve one’s relationship with the earth, and one’s relationship with other people. Community and sustainability were, and still are, two of the most critical principles to the Christianite way of life. This design seeks to address both of these ideals while also providing a space to exhibit Christiania’s past, present, and future.
